Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR activities for Bunge’s Barcelona and Madrid offices, ensuring effective employee relations, compliance, and operational excellence. You will act as the primary HR point of contact, driving process improvements aligned with global and regional HR strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as first‑line HR contact for employees, handling grievances through HR Business Services, Centers of Excellence, and HR Business Partners.
• Support budgeting by assessing labor costs and forecasting departmental expenditures.
• Oversee performance management, ensuring timely and high‑quality evaluations.
• Advise on compensation strategies based on market benchmarks and career development needs.
• Monitor legal regulations, partner with legal teams on labor‑related issues, and ensure workplace compliance.
• Collaborate with department leaders on recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Measure employee engagement, develop improvement action plans, and drive employer branding initiatives.
• Manage HR KPIs, make data‑driven decisions, and supervise monthly payroll data consolidation.
• Promote workplace safety policies and participate in global HR initiatives at the country level.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead process‑improvement projects and work cross‑functionally.
