ICO Payroll Officer

About the role

The ICO Payroll Officer is responsible for preparing and executing the monthly payroll for MSF International staff, ensuring accurate payment and benefits administration in line with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and administer payroll, including unused leave payout, salary advances, allowances and expense reimbursements.
• Run quality checks in collaboration with the Compensation & Benefits Specialist and HR team to guarantee payroll accuracy.
• Provide technical feedback on payroll results and record any abnormalities.
• Upload approved payroll data to the Employee Self‑Service platform.
• Coordinate post‑payroll salary remittance with HR, Finance and Convera, and respond to employee inquiries.
• Act as the operational reference for Convera on post‑payroll matters and train HR staff on its use.
• Support Finance in reconciling payroll‑related reinvoicing.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of MSF internal payroll and benefits policies (IRP2, Mobile Rewards Policy, etc.).
• Experience in payroll administration and benefits management.
• Ability to perform detailed checks and ensure high‑quality payroll processing.
• Excellent coordination skills with HR, Finance and external payment providers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Convera payroll tool.
