Identity and Access Management (IAM) – IT System Engineer

About the role

Drees & Sommer is looking for an IT System Engineer focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join its growing IT team in Málaga. Working within the System Administration team, you will help administer and continuously improve server and cloud systems, protecting the integrity, availability and security of data and digital identities. You will also contribute to the standardization, automation and optimization of IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives, including compliance requirements such as ISO 27001
• Assist in installing, configuring and administering server, storage and backup systems
• Monitor and support the availability, performance and security of IT services and infrastructure
• Work on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, Exchange
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Take part in IT infrastructure projects such as migrations, expansions and optimizations
• Create technical documentation and guidelines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, completed IT training or a comparable qualification; career changers with at least 3 years of professional experience and a good understanding of Identity Management and application security are also welcome
• Good knowledge of Identity Management processes and access governance principles
• Ability to work collaboratively in project environments and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Service-oriented mindset and proactive approach to continuous improvement
• High-level English (C1)

Required skills

• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Windows Server and/or Linux Server environments
• Microsoft Azure and cloud-based identity solutions
