Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Talan, an international consulting group focused on innovation and business transformation through technology, is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join its GTB Tech Evolution Platform team in Málaga. The role helps build and operate secure, scalable, cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, working closely with Platform, Security and Product teams to onboard applications to standardized cloud patterns and adopt modern DevOps, SRE and observability practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/EKS.
• Lead the onboarding and migration of applications to standardized cloud patterns and platform services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments using GitHub.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code, especially with Terraform.
• Drive migration from traditional credentials to AWS IAM/IRSA and secure identity management.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments for reliability, security and scalability.
• Champion observability and SRE practices, including monitoring, logging and performance improvements, using Amazon CloudWatch and ideally Dynatrace.
• Promote automation across infrastructure and application lifecycle, maintain a documentation-first approach, contribute to service catalog governance and collaborate with Platform Engineering, Security and Product teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevSecOps / DevOps engineer.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong security mindset and interest in building reliable, scalable, well-governed cloud platforms.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, ideally EKS.
• Strong experience with GitHub and CI/CD workflows, Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid experience with Docker, Linux, cloud automation and IAM, including AWS IAM/IRSA.
• Nice to have: Python scripting, Java, Dynatrace, SRE principles, large-scale enterprise or financial services experience.
