IFS Senior Technical Specialist

Job description
About the role
Henry Schein is looking for an IFS Senior Technical Specialist to take ownership of critical areas of its IFS Cloud landscape and help build a more robust, standardised and scalable technology environment. The role sits at the intersection of hands-on technical expertise, release management, data, integrations and continuous improvement, and is fully remote.
Key responsibilities
- Own and improve environment and release management: set up best practices for refresh schedules, test data and environment usage, maintain inventories, interface mappings, configuration baselines and platform documentation, and align Build-place and Use-place environments.
- Manage deployments of IFS Cloud service updates, patches, hotfixes, configurations, reports, integrations and modifications, and enforce release governance, version control and change management standards.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency: lead data migration and cleansing, maintain migration documentation and audit evidence, and drive standardisation of platform nomenclature.
- Manage Synchronization Rules, Permission Set Filters, Entity Filters and MWO Entities, and develop and support PSO integrations.
- Work with stakeholders to deliver change safely, coordinate multiple streams of change, and turn complex technical topics into clear information for technical and non-technical audiences.
Required profile
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting IFS Cloud, MWO and PSO.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex, multinational organisations.
- Strong communication skills and comfort managing several change streams at once.
Required skills
- Expert knowledge of data migration methodologies and tools.
- Good working knowledge of SQL/PLSQL, REST/OData APIs and IFS Connect.
- Understanding of ITIL Change, Release, Incident and Problem Management.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar release and work management tools.
What we offer
- Competitive salary aligned with the market and experience.
- Benefits package depending on country of residence.
- Flexible working hours and career development opportunities.
The position is 100% remote and open to candidates based in Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden or the United Kingdom.
