Indirect Procurement Trainee (Internship)

About the role

Gea is looking for a final-year student to join its indirect procurement team as an Indirect Procurement Intern. You will support global procurement operations across a wide range of categories and initiatives, working alongside experienced professionals on international procurement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support credit card processes, contract management and procurement systems
• Assist with ESG reporting, compliance tracking and legal coordination
• Help manage tenders, supplier onboarding and database management
• Conduct supplier and market research, spend analysis and cost tracking
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers and support contract renewals
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation and presentations
• Contribute to procurement projects and ad-hoc tasks

Required profile

• Final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree, eligible to undertake an internship as part of your academic program
• Fluent in English and Spanish; German is a plus
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong analytical and communication skills
