Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud & DevOps)

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and operate the platforms that power our international mobile connectivity service. You will be responsible for the reliability, performance and cost‑efficiency of our cloud environment and will work closely with engineering teams to enable fast, safe delivery of features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and own infrastructure across our cloud environment, from provisioning to production.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable engineers to ship safely and quickly.
• Own observability – metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting – to detect issues before customers notice.
• Lead incident response and drive post‑mortems to prevent recurrence.
• Manage databases, networking, and security as code that is understandable and extensible.
• Review teammates’ work and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Monitor cost and performance and take corrective actions when needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years operating production services on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Strong experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform or similar) and treating infrastructure as software.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Comfortable coding in Node.js and TypeScript for internal tooling.
• Solid grasp of observability, networking, and database operations.
• Experience using AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) in real work.
• Strong reliability instinct and proactive problem‑solving.
• Based in Barcelona.
