Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer for its Global IT organization based in Barcelona, which has strong support responsibilities across Europe. The role covers the day-to-day operation of the Barcelona office and the upkeep of critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Act as central contact for maintaining the network, video conferencing, Linux servers and providing desktop support for users.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS and Exchange for US/EMEA with high availability and performance, including migrating some critical components to Microsoft Azure.
• Maintain O365 security, roll out MFA and SSO for EMEA users, and manage Zoom and Teams infrastructure.
• Set up IP-phone infrastructure for EMEA and work with the security team on DLP and EDR client rollout.
• Support the engineering community's production Linux infrastructure: install, upgrade and maintain Linux servers, and back up and restore them on request.

Required profile

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Linux servers, desktops and networking.
• Team player able to share knowledge; project management experience with waterfall and agile methods.
• ITIL v4 certification and Microsoft certifications (O365, Azure).
