Inside Account Executive - Local Public Sector

About the role

The Inside Account Executive owns the end-to-end account strategy and sales engagement for a portfolio of medium-sized local public sector accounts, focusing on local government entities and public administrations. The role works closely with specialized inside resources to grow each account.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the end-to-end account strategy and expand share-of-wallet through new logos, retention and development of mid-sized accounts.
• Drive sales in Personal Systems and Managed Device Services and expand services within the account.
• Identify and connect customer strategy, key initiatives and HP offerings to build outcome-based sales and a business case.
• Engage with executives and key stakeholders in local government and build strong customer relationships.
• Manage pipeline growth and ensure customer retention.
• Coordinate with internal departments, partners and distributors, and navigate public sector procurement processes to develop and close opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; IT or a related technical background is highly valued.
• Fluent Spanish and Catalan, and a good command of English.
• Preferred: engineering and/or administration background, proven sales or account management experience, and experience with public sector accounts and partners.

Required skills

• Strategic account leadership and cross-functional team leadership.
• Outcome-based selling and proficiency in digital and remote selling.
• P&L management knowledge, strong business acumen and executive presence.
