Insights Lead

About the role

Roche is looking for an Insights Lead in Madrid. The role positions Insights as a strategic partner to the affiliate, leading and developing a team of Insights Experts while owning end-to-end insight responsibility for a defined disease area. It ensures high-quality, independent analysis that supports informed decision-making and commercial excellence. The position reports directly to the Head of Commercialization Excellence (ComEX).

Key responsibilities

• Position Insights as a strategic partner, delivering high-impact analysis that enables informed decision-making and commercial excellence.
• Lead and develop a high-performing insights team, strengthening capabilities and prioritisation.
• Own end-to-end insight delivery for a defined disease area.
• Work closely with Data Analytics, the IPS Leadership Team and Global teams to translate strategy into execution.
• Motivate, coach and develop the team, with performance management responsibility for 4-5 Insights Experts and one Trainee.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in insights; data analytics expertise is an advantage.
• Experience working within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring and team development.
• Strong change management skills, able to lead teams through transformation and evolving ways of working.
• Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across functions.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
