Installation Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Installation Technician to join NPSG Europe’s robotics and automation projects across Spain, Germany, France and Italy. The role involves assembling and installing electromechanical equipment such as frames, brackets, mobile shelving units and workstations in warehouse and e‑fulfilment sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, test and troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies including PC boards, metal components and cable harnesses.
• Fit frames, brackets, mobile shelving units and workstations to specification on site.
• Perform functional tests with minimal supervision and complete required documentation.
• Communicate technical issues to senior site lead, clients and colleagues and support resolution.
• Identify, analyse and report product performance and quality concerns.
• Adhere to NPSG, client and contractor health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar installation role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Qualification in engineering – robotics, automation, mechatronics, electronics or mechanical preferred.
