IT Engineer – Java Development for WMS/MFS Systems

About the role

Join TGW Group, a global leader in automated intralogistics, as an IT Engineer. You will design, develop, and support high‑performance software solutions for warehouse management (WMS) and material flow control (MFS/WCS) systems, working directly with international customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize TGW IT solutions for WMS and MFS/WCS platforms using Java SE 17, Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Write functional and automated test code (JUnit, Mockito) and maintain version control with Git.
• Perform system integration testing, commissioning, and provide 3rd‑level customer support.
• Train end users and produce technical and functional documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external IT partners, suppliers and customers to define specifications and estimate costs.
• Contribute to technical guidelines, quality processes and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in Java application development (Java SE 17, Spring Boot, REST APIs).
• Solid knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL.
• Experience with Git, IntelliJ/Eclipse, Gradle and automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and Jira.
• Experience in logistics or production automation projects (WMS/WCS) is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
