IT Operation Specialist for SE/MBSE

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an IT Operation Specialist to support the IT infrastructure and applications used in Systems Engineering (SE) and Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environments. You will join the E2E development domain, ensuring the platforms that enable helicopter design are reliable, secure and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain servers, storage, networks and virtual environments for SE/MBSE tools.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot SE/MBSE software and its dependencies.
• Monitor performance, proactively resolve incidents and provide user support.
• Implement IT security policies, perform backups and recovery procedures.
• Document configurations, processes and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations and new technology projects for SE/MBSE.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT operations or systems administration, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Network protocols, firewalls and security best practices.
• Scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
• Virtualisation technologies (VMware, Citrix, Hive).
• Familiarity with SE/MBSE tools (DOORS, CATIA, Cameo Systems Modeler, Windchill) is a plus.
