IT Operation Specialist for SE/MBSE

About the role

Airbus Helicopters España, S.A. is looking for an IT Operation Specialist to support the IT infrastructure and applications for Systems Engineering (SE) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environments. The role keeps the critical IT services used in helicopter design and development running smoothly and efficiently. It sits in the E2E development domain, which delivers digital solutions across the full development process of helicopters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the IT infrastructure for SE/MBSE tools and platforms, including servers, storage, networks and virtual environments.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot SE/MBSE software applications and their dependencies.
• Monitor system performance and availability, resolving issues proactively.
• Provide technical support to users of SE/MBSE tools, handling incidents and service requests.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures in the SE/MBSE environment.
• Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to protect data integrity.
• Collaborate with development teams, systems engineers and external vendors to optimise IT services.
• Document IT processes, configurations and troubleshooting guides.
• Take part in IT projects covering upgrades, migrations and new technology implementations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT operations or systems administration, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls and security best practices.
• Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage several priorities and work in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Desirable: scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
• Desirable: virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Citrix and Hive.
• Desirable: familiarity with SE/MBSE concepts and tools such as DOORS, CATIA, Cameo Systems Modeler and Windchill.
