IT Procurement Specialist – Senior ITAM Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join a high‑performing procurement team for a leading global technology organisation in the Barcelona area. The role focuses on strategic sourcing of software, hardware and IT services, managing supplier relationships and supporting commercial negotiations within a complex enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support sourcing activities across software, hardware and IT services categories.
• Manage end‑to‑end RFx processes, including RFI, RFP and RFQ events.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support commercial negotiations to secure best value for the business.
• Draft, review and manage supplier contracts in collaboration with Legal and Finance teams.
• Contribute to category strategies and procurement best practices.
• Partner with IT Procurement and Software Asset Management (SAM) specialists to deliver procurement expertise.
• Ensure procurement governance, compliance and contractual obligations throughout the sourcing lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management.
• Strong procurement experience across software, hardware and IT services.
• Demonstrable experience managing supplier relationships and vendor performance.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
