IT Project Manager (Security, Network & Infrastructure Solutions)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead security, network and infrastructure solution deployments for a major insurance client. The position is hybrid, with one day per week on site in our Madrid office (or Barcelona) and the rest remote. You will manage complex, international IT projects from initiation to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the project communication plan.
• Plan, budget, scope and allocate resources for each project.
• Control scope changes and ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Monitor financial performance to keep projects within the agreed budget.
• Produce regular status reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate project risks.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, including C‑suite interactions.
• Lead change management activities to achieve business outcomes.
• Coordinate third‑party vendors to meet delivery expectations.
• Ensure delivery meets defined quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven project management expertise in complex, international IT environments.
• Experience delivering fixed‑price, security‑focused projects.
• Strong background in information security, network and infrastructure solutions.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Project Management certifications (PMI, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2).
• Agile methodologies such as SCRUM.
• Process improvement knowledge (Lean, Six Sigma) – advantage.
• Technical or security certifications – advantage.
