IT Senior Project Manager - SAP (English Mandatory)

About the role

Sopra Steria, a European consulting, digital services and software development group, is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager in Barcelona to lead and deliver technology initiatives. The role covers end-to-end project delivery, aligned with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, timelines, budget, quality standards and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
• Define and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Manage stakeholder communication and report regularly to management and governance bodies.
• Ensure compliance with project management standards, governance processes and organisational policies.
• Drive proactive risk management, issue resolution and decision-making.
• Monitor project financials and support benefits realisation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in complex environments.
• Fluent Spanish and good English are mandatory.
• Proven experience managing scope, budget, risks, timelines and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in multicultural and international environments.
