Jig & Tools Quality Conformance Manager

About the role

Airbus Operations in Getafe is looking for a highly skilled Aircraft Jigs and Tools Quality Conformance Manager to ensure the highest quality standards in the manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft jigs and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the Tooling Verification Process (TVP) for J&T in Getafe Plant, defining inspection means, type and sequence.
• Control and record periodical maintenance revisions before expiry dates.
• Certify maintenance revisions, decide on deviations and ensure performance levels.
• Raise discrepancy reports for any deviations and ensure corrective actions.
• Accept new tooling according to Airbus standards, ensuring document traceability.
• Support internal, external and Airworthiness Authority audits related to J&T.
• Provide technical support for all J&T issues in the Getafe Plant.
• Lead continuous improvement projects linked to AOS deployment.
• Control the Jig & Tools storehouse and validate design modifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality management within the aviation industry, focusing on aircraft jigs and tools.
• Metrology expertise with proficiency in Laser Tracker technology and 3D measuring machines.
• Extensive background in initial certification and periodic recertification of aerospace jigs.
• Deep understanding of Getafe plant assembly and tooling requirements.
