Junior HR Generalist – Barcelona

About the role

Kaplan Languages Group is seeking a Junior HR Generalist to join its European HR team in Barcelona. Reporting to the HRBP Manager for KLG Europe, you will work as a true generalist, gaining hands‑on experience across the full HR cycle in a fast‑moving, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end recruitment: post vacancies, coordinate with hiring managers, screen candidates and manage communications.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Conduct exit interviews and help analyse feedback for people‑strategy improvements.
• Manage relationships with universities and academic institutions for internship programmes, including drafting agreements.
• Maintain and update the internal HR Hub, contributing to new policy creation.
• Enter and administer HR data in Workday.
• Contribute to HR projects, initiatives and internal events.
• Provide general HR support to the European team.

Required profile

• Some HR experience gained through an internship, placement or early‑career role.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages (French, German, Italian) are a plus.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong communication skills and genuine curiosity about people and organisations.

Required skills

• Workday (HRIS) – experience preferred.
