Junior Product Manager - Translation Automation Platform

About the role

TransPerfect's Product Management team manages the development of its applications across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production release, working with other teams. The Junior Product Manager works within the Technology group and acts as the main contact for Client Solutions Teams, Internal Solutions Teams and other groups, collaborating on the world's leading translation automation platform.

Key responsibilities

• Support the product line from strategic planning through release, taking an active part in UAT and QA cycles of new versions
• Track delivery schedules, ensure quality assurance and manage changes in work scope
• Engage stakeholders, manage communications, expectations and dependencies
• Take part in UI/UX design and author and review documentation updates
• Analyse reported issues, new features and improvement requests and communicate them to developers, writing formal specifications when needed
• Support colleagues from Client Solutions, Internal Solutions, Technology Sales and Technology Services teams
• Learn about internal and third-party technologies and perform other special tasks assigned by the manager

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 1 year of software product management experience in a corporate environment
• Fluent English with good verbal and written communication
• Experience gathering and organising user requirements, user stories and use cases with external and internal clients
• Proactive, self-starter who can own projects with limited supervision

Required skills

• Full knowledge of the software product development lifecycle
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, especially for troubleshooting web applications
• Time management and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment
• Desired: knowledge of a second language, JIRA, Confluence, TestRail or similar, localisation CAT tools and translation memory tools
