Junior Project Manager - Business Analytics

About the role

AUTO1 Group, Europe's leading car trading platform, is hiring a Junior Project Manager - Business Analytics in Madrid. You will support the strategy, growth and day-to-day operations of the Branch Real Estate & Expansion team across Europe, reporting directly to the Head of Real Estate & Expansion Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Query and interpret data (SQL and beyond) to track branch and expansion performance, surface trends and turn raw numbers into actionable insights.
• Own analytical workstreams within larger real estate and expansion projects, from data gathering to recommendations.
• Prototype dashboards, trackers and lightweight internal tools, including using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, to automate reporting.
• Identify inefficiencies in branch or expansion processes and help design and implement scalable, data-backed improvements.
• Coordinate initiatives with Purchasing, Expansion, Real Estate and other cross-functional teams.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in business analytics, consulting, engineering or a similar analytical role; strong recent graduates with relevant internships or project work are welcome.
• Degree in Business Analytics, Management, Economics, Engineering or another quantitative field.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus).

Required skills

• Solid SQL skills and comfort writing or adapting your own queries.
• Comfort experimenting with AI-assisted coding tools to build small internal tools.
• Familiarity with BI or reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
