Junior Recruiter

About the role

Scorp Inc., a fast-growing social media and technology company with offices in Istanbul and San Francisco, is strengthening its Affiliate Marketing team and is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join its team in Barcelona. The recruiter identifies, attracts and engages qualified candidates through various sourcing channels to support the company's hiring needs.

Key responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, databases and other channels
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through direct outreach and networking
• Research candidates and map talent to build strong pipelines
• Review CVs and candidate profiles to assess suitability for open positions
• Use Boolean search and other sourcing strategies to find relevant talent
• Run initial screening calls to check qualifications, experience and motivation
• Work with hiring managers and the recruitment team on role requirements and sourcing strategies
• Maintain and update candidate databases and talent pipelines
• Track sourcing activity, outreach and response rates
• Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates throughout the process

Required profile

• 1 year of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or candidate sourcing
• Hands-on candidate sourcing experience
• Experience using LinkedIn, job boards and other online platforms to find candidates
• Experience with passive candidate sourcing and direct outreach
• Good command of English
• Strong research, communication and organisational skills; proactive and results-driven

Required skills

• Boolean search techniques and sourcing strategies
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms or recruitment databases is an advantage
