People Business Partner - GTM

About the role

Supabase, the Postgres development platform, is looking for a People Business Partner to join its People Team and support its remote GTM organizations as the company scales. You will work closely with GTM leaders and teams, bringing a thoughtful people perspective to how teams scale, how leaders lead and how a high-trust, high-accountability culture is maintained in a fast-moving remote environment. The role suits someone who thrives in async, fast-paced settings.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with functional and executive leadership on org design, performance and day-to-day people decisions.
• Coach managers and leaders to improve support, consistency and judgment across their teams.
• Maintain and champion a high-trust, high-accountability culture in a globally distributed environment.
• Scale people practices and programs thoughtfully, without overbuilding heavy-handed processes.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, People Ops, Legal and Finance on GTM and Engineering organization initiatives.
• Proactively manage employee relations and team health so GTM and Engineering organizations stay healthy and effective.

Required profile

• 5-10+ years of experience as a People Business Partner in high-growth tech, supporting distributed GTM teams.
• Comfortable in remote-first or globally distributed, asynchronous environments.
• Experience in org design, performance management and coaching senior leaders.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, including in open-source, self-serve, commercial and enterprise contexts.
