About the role

Smadex, a fast‑growing ad‑tech company handling millions of ad requests per second, is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join its Barcelona team. This full‑time, hybrid role offers hands‑on experience building cloud‑based platforms and collaborating with skilled peers in a high‑velocity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain components of Smadex’s real‑time ad‑tech platform using modern cloud technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an engineering or master’s degree program.
• Available to start immediately and work full‑time (40 hours/week).
• Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and fluent in English.
• Legal right to work in Spain (no visa sponsorship provided).
