KYC Analyst with German C1 (f/m/x)

About the role

Deutsche Bank is looking for a KYC analyst to join its KYC/TBM team in Barcelona. The role works with German private clients, helping with onboarding, managing regular reviews and event-driven reviews, and part of the team focuses on transaction behaviour monitoring on an alert basis. Fluency in German (C1+) is required.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct KYC processes for German private clients throughout their lifecycle.
• Analyse and monitor client transaction behaviour to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assess payment transactions against the client's KYC profile and prepare internal suspected money laundering reports.
• Collaborate with Regular Reviews (RR) and Event Driven Reviews (EDR), as well as the New Client Adoption (NCA) process.
• Ensure compliance with AML and KYC regulations and policies.
• Make business approval decisions to accept customers and continue customer relationships, in collaboration with Operations and Business Line AFC PB.
• Contribute to process improvements related to KYC/TBM.

Required profile

• Fluency in German (C1+).
• Completed banking academic degree, completed studies or comparable qualifications are desirable.
• Experience in KYC or financial compliance is preferred.
• Team player with a positive attitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and a strong commitment to regulatory topics.

Required skills

• Proven ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and optimise workflows, with critical judgment on the responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
