KYC and Onboarding Analyst

About the role

Deutsche Bank is looking for a KYC and Onboarding Analyst (f/m/x) to join its CLM team in Barcelona. You will analyse client structures and support the bank's Private Banking clients, working with Relationship Managers, Compliance and Legal experts. The role is full-time and on-site, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Key responsibilities

• Review client documentation and KYC information in detail, identifying and escalating potential compliance risks.
• Analyse complex client and ownership structures and give clear feedback on onboarding, KYC and documentation review outcomes.
• Advise the Front Office during account opening and KYC review.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Compliance and Legal to remove blockers and improve end-to-end client lifecycle management efficiency.
• Track cases, follow up on progress and produce regular reports with defined improvement actions.
• Take on further responsibilities depending on personal job development and the team's needs.

Required profile

• 2+ years in Client Lifecycle Management/KYC within Private Banking, with strong knowledge of KYC standards, banking documentation and regulations.
• Good analytical skills to assess and interpret complex client structures.
• Problem-solving, multitasking, attention to detail and accuracy, with strong teamwork and organisation, and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Excellent spoken and written English; other languages such as French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish or Spanish are a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Basic Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of Avaloq is a plus.
• Proven ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows, with responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
