Lead Business Analyst - Sales Operations

About the role

Applus IDIADA is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to lead Salesforce implementation, optimization and management from a business perspective. The role bridges business needs and technology solutions, turning sales processes around through effective system implementation and data-driven insights. It is based in Tarragona and is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of 2 Salesforce professionals, coordinate their activities, assign tasks and monitor performance
• Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects and enhancements, translating user needs and company objectives into effective solutions
• Minimise unnecessary customisation, follow best practices in configuration and process design, and act as the main link between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Streamline sales workflows through technology and report on KPIs for sales operations
• Integrate data from Salesforce, SAP and other tools, build dashboards and visualisations, and share insights with management
• Oversee database management, data mining, data cleansing and data quality assurance, and set data governance standards
• Manage data flow between Salesforce, SAP and other enterprise systems
• Create training materials in the learning management system, run training sessions with Salesforce team support and turn user feedback into improvements

Required profile

• 5-7 years of experience in business analysis with a CRM focus and proven leadership of Salesforce implementations
• Proven track record managing teams and turning business needs into technical solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication
• Ability to define and track KPIs for complex sales processes

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and SAP integration
• Enterprise BI tools, data mining, visualisation, system integrations and APIs
• Sales process reporting and data analysis
