Lead IT Operating Model (ITOM) Architect

About the role

Logicalis Spain is recruiting a Lead IT Operating Model (ITOM) Architect for one of its clients in Madrid. The role drives the end-to-end design and operationalization of a global, platform-centric IT Target Operating Model, bridging executive digital strategy with organizational structures, setting up governance and decision rights, and aligning platform delivery across domains such as ERP, integration, cloud/infrastructure and data & AI.

Key responsibilities

• Define and refine the global IT Target Operating Model blueprint, moving from siloed or regional functions to a platform-centric, product-driven model.
• Align C-suite stakeholders (CDIO, CIO, CFO, business leads) on design principles, vision and trade-offs.
• Establish global IT governance charters, RACI decision rights, steering committees and BRM interfaces.
• Group applications and capabilities into Business and Tech Platforms (e.g. SAP/ERP, ServiceNow, Data/AI, digital portals).
• Assess organizational readiness, identify skill and role gaps, and define transition paths for leadership and platform roles.

Required profile

• 12+ years in technology consulting or enterprise corporate IT leadership, including at least 5 years leading global ITOM, IT transformation or IT M&A/carve-out initiatives.
• Proven track record implementing platform-centric, product-led or matrixed global IT operating models in multinational or complex corporate environments.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical discipline.
• Fluent English (C1/C2) for all deliverables.
