Lean Project Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

As a member of the Operational Excellence team at Siemens Mobility’s Cornellà plant, you will drive the adoption of Lean methodologies and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across manufacturing and administrative functions. Reporting directly to plant management, you will align local operations with the global Center of Excellence standards and foster a culture of efficiency and standardisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy the global Lean strategy, adapting it to the specific realities of the Cornellà plant.
• Lead and execute continuous‑improvement projects in both factory and office environments.
• Analyse processes, identify improvement opportunities and design high‑impact solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions and problem‑solving meetings with cross‑functional teams.
• Promote the use of Lean tools and standardisation throughout the plant.
• Coordinate initiatives with the Lean CoE and other international sites, sharing best practices.
• Measure, track and report project KPIs to plant management and the Lean CoE.
• Act as a role model to embed a sustainable Lean mindset across the organisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading Lean projects in industrial and administrative settings.
• Fluent English (C1 level) for effective communication in an international environment.
• Technical university degree in engineering, operations or continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects and influence multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
