Legal Counsel

About the role

Airalo is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide commercial and regulatory support for its global eSIM marketplace. You will work closely with Commercial, Product, and Marketing teams to manage deal execution, contract risk, and compliance, including data‑privacy matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate partnership, vendor, distribution and telecom contracts supporting operations in 200+ countries.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to business units on contractual risk, regulatory exposure, and deal structuring.
• Support data‑privacy and protection compliance, including GDPR and other regional frameworks.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments affecting the eSIM and telecom sectors.
• Escalate high‑risk or novel legal issues to senior counsel as needed.

Required profile

• Hands‑on legal professional with experience in commercial agreements and regulatory matters.
• Familiarity with data‑privacy laws such as GDPR.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, multicultural environment.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
