Level 2 Technical Support Engineer

About the role

Signaturit Group, a Namirial company and European leader in secure digital transactions, is hiring a Level 2 technical support engineer in its Madrid office (Paterna). The role covers monitoring, administration and troubleshooting of Linux systems, database management and incident resolution, with collaboration with other teams to improve customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and ensure the availability and performance of managed services.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems.
• Analyse and diagnose internal applications, including log review, processes and performance.
• Maintain databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Yugabyte.
• Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts for automation and analysis.
• Diagnose alerts, incidents and critical issues, and escalate them to Level 2 when needed.
• Manage orchestration and infrastructure tools such as SaltStack and Ansible.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve escalated incidents and improve the customer experience.

Required profile

• Computer Science degree and at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills and proactivity; availability to be on call one week per month.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Linux at intermediate-advanced level (file systems, processes, services, networking, logs).
• Intermediate knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, VLANs, subnets, firewalls).
• PostgreSQL and MongoDB at intermediate level.
• Bash scripting.

• Indicative base salary of 28-31K€, plus a variable component of up to 2K€ upon 100% achievement of objectives.
