Maintenance Engineer

About the role

An opportunity has opened for a Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance Engineering Team at Airbus Operations in Getafe, Madrid. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance, safety and reliability of industrial assets such as robots, machines, jigs and tools used in aerospace production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintainability and maintenance strategies for industrial means.
• Conduct failure analysis, reliability studies and preventative maintenance planning.
• Coordinate with internal customers to support panels, routines and production processes.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers to guarantee efficient maintenance operations.
• Oversee supplier management activities related to maintenance services and parts.
• Identify and apply improvements to maintenance processes to increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in maintainability and maintenance engineering within an industrial or aerospace environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and resilience.
• Advanced fluency in English, both written and spoken.
