Management Accountant – France & Spain

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our regional accounting team in Barcelona. The role will focus on the financial operations of our entities in France and Spain, ensuring accurate and scalable accounting practices across borders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and accounting books for French and Spanish operations, complying with local GAAP.
• Execute standardized month‑end close procedures, meeting all deadlines with precision.
• Prepare and file local VAT returns and respond to tax enquiries to guarantee full compliance.
• Support internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.
• Assist with billing processes using Oracle NetSuite ERP and Payflow integrations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather financial data and improve workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Full professional proficiency in French and English, and fluency in Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP for France and Spain, including VAT reporting.
• Experience with month‑end closing and general ledger management.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across multiple locations.
