Manufacturing Engineer – Process, Methods & Digital Tools

About the role

Join Airbus Helicopters in Albacete as a Manufacturing Engineer focused on process, methods and digital tools. You will support the entire operations chain, from planning through aircraft delivery, and drive digital transformation projects that improve efficiency on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Business Operational Support across all operational domains, from structural assembly to final delivery.
• Launch and participate in local and trans‑national digital improvement projects, emphasizing operational efficiency.
• Integrate advanced digital solutions such as AI, data analytics, AR/VR and IoT, aligning them with global strategy.
• Act as a bridge between operations and the broader Manufacturing & Technology and Industrial Management networks.
• Maintain process documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance data, identify impacts and propose innovative shop‑floor solutions.

Required profile

• Strong background in industrial shop‑floor ecosystems and integration of new processes.
• Proficiency with advanced digital solutions (AI, data analytics) and data management.
• Experience in project management with a focus on change management.
• Effective communication in Spanish and English; additional languages a plus.
• Curious, rigorous, confident and a good team player.
