Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Sonae Sierra is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to lead the marketing, communication and retail media strategy for its commercial real‑estate assets in Spain. You will work closely with the Centre Director and Property Management team to boost footfall, enhance tenant engagement and strengthen brand positioning through integrated campaigns and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the annual marketing and communication plan aligned with commercial and footfall targets.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal activations and tenant‑related events to drive visitor traffic.
• Manage the centre’s digital presence, including website, social media channels and CRM/loyalty programmes.
• Coordinate retail media initiatives, optimise advertising space and revenue opportunities.
• Develop and monitor the marketing budget, reporting spend, ROI and KPI performance.
• Liaise with tenants and retailers to align joint promotions and communication needs.
• Work with external agencies (creative, media, PR, events) to ensure high‑quality campaign execution.
• Analyse footfall, sales and customer satisfaction data to refine marketing strategy.
• Handle local PR and media relations to maintain consistent brand messaging.
• Support sustainability and ESG communication initiatives in partnership with the ESG team.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably within retail, shopping centres, hospitality or commercial real‑estate.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing integrated marketing campaigns, including digital and social media.
• Experience working with tenants, retailers and external agencies.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and ROI.
