Maths Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our international school community. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons, support student wellbeing, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance and share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials and maintain an up‑to‑date grade book.
• Design, administer and grade monthly assessments and other assigned work.
• Supervise playground duties and ensure classroom displays reflect lesson topics and school events.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral or special needs.
• Participate in staff meetings, institutional workshops, parent meetings and school activities.
• Record daily attendance and manage homework boards, ensuring regular updates.
• Promote open communication with students and parents and encourage participation in school committees.
• Organize student involvement in fairs, community service projects and fundraising activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in an educational setting.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading and writing).
• Strong organizational, planning and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle student wellbeing concerns.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital teaching tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
