Media Relations and Events Coordinator

About the role

AESC is expanding its first net‑zero gigafactory in Spain and seeks a Media Relations and Events Coordinator to strengthen corporate reputation, media visibility and stakeholder engagement. Based in Madrid, the role involves frequent travel to the plant in Navalmoral de la Mata and other locations across Extremadura.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate media relations with national, regional and sector‑specific outlets.
• Plan, organize and execute institutional, corporate and community events, including media visits and stakeholder engagements.
• Develop press releases, key messages and other corporate communication materials.
• Support digital communications, such as LinkedIn updates and website content.
• Manage showroom activities and stakeholder visits at the Navalmoral de la Mata site.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, institutions and business associations.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for senior management.
• Assist in reputation‑building initiatives and stakeholder engagement strategies across Spain.
• Coordinate communications with external agencies, suppliers and event partners.
• Translate complex industrial, energy and technology topics into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.

Required profile

• Solid experience in corporate communications, media relations, public affairs, PR or journalism.
• Strong writing, editing and content development capabilities.
• Proven track record coordinating events and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project coordination skills.
