MRTT Flight Operations Support Specialist

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Flight Operations Support Specialist to lead the production and delivery of Flight Operations Manuals for the A330 MRTT+ program. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality operational documentation and support services for military customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as product responsible for A330 MRTT+ Flight Operations Manuals, coordinating with customers and internal teams.
• Lead and manage a team of subcontracted authors, ensuring technical content is accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Serve as the principal Subject Matter Expert for A330 MRTT+ technical topics and supervise manual content.
• Control technical configuration and content of publications, including contributions to A330 Neo.
• Perform technical authoring for planned and unplanned manual revisions.
• Support operational activities such as service requests, Flight Operations Transmissions, and briefing notes.
• Develop and implement project management plans, defining scope, quality, schedule and risk.
• Engage with customers through workshops, webinars, entry‑into‑service processes and operational visits.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent flight operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in flight operations publications or support.
• Proven team‑management and project‑management experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Technical authoring using Airbus tools (e.g., ADOC, FODM).
• Knowledge of Airbus Defence and Space military systems for the A330 MRTT program.
• Experience defining and producing flight‑operations support deliverables.
