MRTT Quality Manager – Programs Quality (Temp)

About the role

The MRTT Quality Manager will act as the single point of contact for customers and authorities on quality matters for Airbus Defence & Space programmes in Getafe. You will ensure that safety, reliability and quality requirements are communicated, implemented and monitored throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the collection, analysis and visualization of product and in‑service performance data to detect early deviations.
• Lead root‑cause investigations, lessons‑learned activities and corrective‑preventive actions.
• Support the deployment of preventive techniques when baseline changes occur (e.g., product or process modifications).
• Monitor and assess the quality of project process execution and ensure compliance with business management processes.
• Implement Program Excellence methodologies such as APQP and trigger corrective actions when deviations are identified.
• Manage non‑conformance and waiver treatments, including analysis, monitoring and improvement of quality standards.
• Develop, negotiate and apply the product assurance plan for the programme.
• Maintain the technical risk register and oversee risk‑mitigation actions.
• Validate product conformity with contractual and legal requirements and coordinate resolution of customer quality issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Science (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Relevant experience in quality management roles within an international environment.
• Demonstrated flexibility and strong interpersonal skills.
