Network Automation & AI Consultant

About the role

Kyndryl is looking for a Network Platforms, Automation & AI Operations consultant in Madrid. The role combines client-facing transformation work with building reusable software and platform capabilities. You will help design, build and scale modernization programs that move enterprise networks toward software-driven, observable, automated and resilient operating models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver modern enterprise network architectures across data center, campus, WAN, cloud and edge environments, and support their modernization through SDN, cloud networking, segmentation and resilience.
• Build reusable software components, automation services, APIs, connectors, IaC frameworks and cloud-native platforms (containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Define observability frameworks (telemetry, metrics, logs, traces) and data pipelines, and integrate AIOps platforms with network, cloud, security and IT operations.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows, copilots and agentic components for NetOps and NOC, including event triage, incident enrichment and recommended remediation, with responsible AI governance.
• Lead client assessments, workshops, architecture reviews and transformation roadmaps, and act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.
• Create reusable Kyndryl assets such as reference architectures, blueprints, playbooks, demos and delivery accelerators, and mentor engineers, architects and developers.

Required profile

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience in enterprise networking, network platforms or network operations in complex environments.
• Hands-on software development and automation experience, and experience building reusable software components and automation workflows.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies, and understanding of observability, data engineering and AIOps.
• Agile delivery, DevOps and consulting experience; advanced written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Preferred: observability/AIOps platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic, Datadog, Grafana; AI agents, copilots, RAG and LLM integration.
• Preferred: SDN, intent-based networking, SASE/SSE, Zero Trust, SRE practices and reusable asset creation.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, cloud, Kubernetes or DevOps certifications are preferred.
