Norwegian Team Leader – Travel Assistance

About the role

Viking Travel Care, a newly established service area of Viking Assistance Group, provides travel assistance to customers of travel insurance companies who experience an incident, illness or injury while abroad; the service is offered in all Nordic languages. Nordic Talent is recruiting a Norwegian-speaking Team Leader with experience in travel insurance assistance to lead the teams in Fuengirola and Torrevieja.

Key responsibilities

• Take personnel responsibility for the Norwegian-speaking team members.
• Coach and develop the competence of team members.
• Ensure service levels are met, including key performance indicators and service level agreements.
• Handle administrative tasks such as time sheets, salary files, absence routines and updating shift plans.
• Cover the tasks of other Team Leaders in rotation when they are absent.
• Work with other departments within Viking Assistance Group to implement agreements and projects and to plan and deliver training.

Required profile

• Experience in a call center, alarm center or customer service environment.
• Experience in the travel industry, insurance or health sector is also relevant.
• Previous experience as a Team Leader, or strong motivation to move into the role.
• Fluent Norwegian and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Experienced user of information technology systems, quick to learn new ones.
