Team Leader Travel Care

About the role

Nordic Talent is recruiting a Scandinavian Team Leader for Viking's newly established travel assistance service, which helps customers with travel insurance incidents, illness or injury abroad. The service is offered in Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Danish, and the Team Leader will lead the teams in Fuengirola and Torrevieja.

Key responsibilities

• Take personnel responsibility for the Scandinavian team members.
• Coach and develop the competence of team members.
• Ensure service levels are met, including KPIs and SLAs.
• Handle administrative tasks such as timesheets, salary files, absence routines and maintaining the shift plan.
• Cover the duties of other Team Leaders on rotation when they are absent.
• Work with other departments in the Viking Assistance Group to implement agreements and projects and organise training.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a call centre, alarm centre or customer service.
• Experience in travel, insurance or health is also relevant.
• Previous Team Leader experience or strong motivation to move into the role.
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Experienced user of IT systems, quick to learn new ones.
• Ability to meet KPIs and SLAs.
