Operations Supervisor - Distribution Centre

About the role

Medtronic is looking for an Operations Supervisor to lead its distribution centre in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid. The role covers logistics and Value-Added Services (VAS) activities and involves managing a team, prioritising work, monitoring performance and supporting talent development, engagement and inclusion. It is a people management position in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Control the flow of finished goods, services and information from origin to customer placement to meet customer requirements
• Ensure continuous improvement of logistics processes such as replenishment, data interchange, demand management and electronic data systems
• Meet customer service and time objectives within existing financial constraints
• Resolve delivery issues with manufacturers, suppliers and customers
• Use market intelligence from operations, distribution, transport, suppliers and customers to improve competitiveness

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 5+ years' experience in supply chain, logistics or a similar operational role
• Experience in a similar management role is an asset
• Fluent English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Required skills

• Proven experience in SAP WMS, logistics and/or supply chain operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP and Power BI

What we offer

• Salary range in Spain of 43,760 to 65,640 EUR
