Spine Loaner Supervisor

About the role

The Spine Operations team oversees the availability and distribution of surgical instruments and implants across the Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) business in Spain and Portugal. This supervisor leads the Iberia Spine Loaner team, overseeing day-to-day operations, service performance and inventory management. The role is based in Spain or Portugal, preferably in the Madrid or Lisbon area, and works closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Customer Service and Commercial teams. It is an onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily Spine Loaner Pool operations, including cleaning, auditing, picking and packing of surgical instruments and implants
• Supervise a frontline team to ensure inventory availability, productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction
• Coordinate product, service and information flow from inventory receipt through fulfilment and returns processing
• Monitor logistics, replenishment and inventory management to keep inventory accurate
• Partner with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality and commercial stakeholders to resolve operational and delivery issues
• Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements and operating procedures
• Coach, develop and manage employee performance through goals, feedback, training and performance management

Required profile

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution operations
• Experience leading or supervising operational teams
• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, fulfilment, shipping or distribution
• Proven experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish and/or Portuguese

Required skills

• Experience using operational metrics and data for performance management and decisions
• SAP Warehouse Management (WM/WMS)
• Preferred: experience in medical devices, lean manufacturing or operational excellence, other WMS/ERP tools, and collaboration across Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Service and Commercial functions

• Salary range: 33,600 to 50,400 EUR in Portugal, 43,760 to 65,640 EUR in Spain
