Warehouse and Inventory Lead

About the role

Medtronic's distribution centre in Alcalá de Henares stores, manages inventory and distributes products across the region, supporting supply chain, logistics, quality and customer service teams. The Warehouse and Inventory Lead is an onsite role supervising warehouse and inventory operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, logistics support and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving and Value-Added Services (VAS) operations.
• Support logistics activities so products move efficiently and compliantly across the distribution network.
• Manage, coach and develop warehouse team members, including performance management and workload prioritisation.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and material movement through SAP Warehouse Management (WM) systems.
• Ensure compliance with logistics procedures, transportation requirements, quality standards and operational policies.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, movement and shipment of materials, products and supplies.
• Review and validate shipping documentation, freight records, packing lists, bills of lading and system transactions.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity, inventory control and service levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in a similar role in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations or inventory management.
• People management experience leading teams in a warehouse, distribution centre, inventory or logistics environment.
• Proven experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• SAP Warehouse Management (WM/WMS)
• Preferred: Power BI for operational reporting, VAS operations, continuous improvement leadership, knowledge of transportation management and warehouse performance metrics

What we offer

• Salary range in Spain of 52,800 to 79,200 EUR, depending on experience and qualifications.
