P2P Accountant

About the role

Syntegon Telstar S.R.U, part of the Syntegon Group, is looking for a P2P Accountant in Terrassa. The role plays a key part in processing vendor invoices and keeping financial reporting accurate and aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Review and post incoming vendor invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts, checking that billed amounts match the agreed terms.
• Ensure that all invoices have adequate approval in the workflow tool before payment.
• Handle incoming vendor invoices promptly, received through central mailboxes, by post and similar channels.
• Close the Accounts Payable sub-ledger and intercompany transactions, reconciling them with the General Ledger.
• Run reconciliations to identify adjustments, prepare GRIR reconciliations and other month-end accruals.
• Review and resolve escalations from vendors, procurement and local entities on invoices and payments, such as payment reminders.
• Support internal and external audits when requested.

Required profile

• Commercial apprenticeship or a comparable qualification.
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable accounting.
• Analytical and teamwork skills, with an independent and structured approach.
• Strong results orientation and high engagement.
• Very good written and spoken English, comfortable in an international environment.

Required skills

• Comprehensive MS Excel and SAP FI skills.
• Basic understanding of the MM module and invoice verification tools (e.g. Basware) is a plus.
