R2R Accountant (GBS) - 4 Positions

About the role

Syntegon Telstar S.R.U, part of the Syntegon Group, is hiring 4 R2R accountants for its facilities in Terrassa. The role provides accounting support within the GBS organization, ensuring accurate and timely execution of Record-to-Report activities, while maintaining accounting records, performing reconciliations and supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and review general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany and fixed asset accounts, with supporting documentation
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, escalating complex issues to the Senior or Team Leader
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation
• Follow internal controls, company policies and IFRS requirements
• Contribute to process improvement, standardization and knowledge sharing

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an R2R, GBS, BSSC or international corporate environment
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and meet deadlines, especially during closing periods

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience with SAP systems
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with BlackLine, Redwood or similar tools is an advantage
