Painter - Zoo Madrid

About the role

Parques Reunidos, an international operator of leisure and entertainment destinations, is looking for a painter for its Zoo Madrid site. The painter works under the department head and/or the maintenance supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Read plans and instructions and inspect surfaces to determine the type and amount of work needed.
• Prepare the site, such as covering accessories and setting up scaffolding.
• Prepare walls and other surfaces to paint, including removing old paint, scraping and filling cracks.
• Mix paints and other materials to prepare the right colour and texture.
• Carry out any other related tasks assigned and help colleagues in the department.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience as a painter.
• Responsible, methodical and organised, with attention to detail.
• Flexible, practical and professional approach, with problem-solving ability.

Required skills

• Knowledge of masonry, electrical work, locksmithing and carpentry within the maintenance department is valued.
