Palantir Foundry Engineer

About the role

Unit8, a Swiss AI and data analytics consulting company founded in 2017, is hiring a Palantir Foundry Engineer in Madrid. As a core member of agile project teams, you will design, build and maintain robust data solutions and infrastructure, working on data and AI topics with the Foundry platform to solve real-world business problems for clients. The workplace is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and troubleshoot complex data pipelines and processing systems, with a strong focus on Palantir Foundry.
• Drive optimization, testing and tooling to ensure high data quality.
• Collaborate with software engineers, ML experts and stakeholders in cross-functional agile teams.
• Experiment, iterate and deliver new product objectives in multi-functional agile teams.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience with the Foundry platform, ideally at least 1 year, preferably in a larger company.
• Foundry knowledge: AIP, Workshop, Code repository, Pipeline Builder, restricted views and markings, and Ontology and Data connections.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Nice to have: data modeling and basic data science concepts (classification, clustering, regression).
• Client-facing skills: comfortable with business and technical clients, giving presentations, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to meet clients and the team.
