Part‑Time School Caretaker

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time caretaker to maintain the school’s facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and functional environment for our children and staff. The role involves routine maintenance, repairs, and collaboration with school personnel to address facility issues.

Our school follows ISP principles, prioritising children’s wellbeing, safety, and an inclusive culture. All staff undergo thorough safeguarding vetting and are expected to uphold diversity, equity and continuous professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the school’s facilities.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and functional environment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor and report on facility conditions and needs.
• Collaborate with school staff to address facility issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience in facility maintenance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate maintenance equipment.

Required skills

• Strong maintenance and repair skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of facility management best practices.
